Silent Hole
Styrofoam, Box, Tape
This work is a vision of an apocalyptic city in a world that has been worn by corrosion, in which air, space, and human vision bend to ecological failure. The destroyed buildings speak to human hubris but within the wreckage, there is potential to rebuild. The shadows and shattered forms testify to despair, but something new can be forged from the wreckage. The play of light and texture is a haunted one that raises questions and symbolises humanity's hand in making its own destiny.

Smog City
Water paint, Photoshop
This work portrays the smothering effect of air pollution in a city in a manner that is analogous to a city evolving in reaction to smog and global warming. The twisted, hazy cityscape is a reflection of the hazy reality of cities in polluted landscapes. The application of blue and orange hues depicts the collision of nature's beauty and air pollution's smothering nature posing questions regarding human action in defining a city's direction.

The Mask
Clay, Plastic, Styrofoam
This work is a reflection of the need for masks throughout time, from smog crises during the beginning of the 20th century to current air pollution issues. The gas mask, having been a symbol of survival in the past, is now a symbol of worsening air quality caused by global warming today. The hard, metal details of it recall a dystopian era when breathing clean air is a luxury. Dark colours and the use of recyclable material underscore ecological deterioration. The ambient details of the green plant at the back symbolise the loss of natural habitats to industrial processes.

Non-Living Bee
Spray, Wire, Acrylic paint, Trash
This sculpture despite a queen bee in her ruined hive. Black represents death, and white symbolises a subtle ray of hope. The bees have been dying at a very high rate in recent years and this is largely due to climate instability caused by global warming. One of the primary reasons for global warming is the excessive use of plastic. I wrapped the queen bee wings and the beehive in plastic and filled it with plastic bottle tops, showing that the trash is limiting her from running her hive properly.
Other AngleMutant Evolution
Video
This work asks, will the current 'human standards' still be valid in the future? The collapsed ecosystem will be filled with new life forms, and this will not be an exception for humans. What will the current human think when looking at another species of human who has made a new choice? It expresses a scene where mutant humans who have accepted a new environment and current humans who exist as if they are regressing look at each other. It also shows the process of evolution through animation.

Hive of Warning
Photoshop
This work was created by photoshopping a honeycomb, a mask, and bees together. The bees are black and red. Black symbolises death, and red symbolises a warning to the Earth. The mask and honeycombs are black to show the trees and people dying from global warming. Lastly, the background, which takes up the largest portion, is in pink to symbolise innovation and change.

Hive - Pattern Wastebasket
Solid clay, Paint
The ceramic pot symbolises both the trash bin that we often see in our world and a bee hive, I juxtaposed the symbols to bring attention to the fact that we need to be aware that what we throw away has a direct impact on the environment that surrounds us.
