Convex Lens
Acrylic on canvas
This tondo depicts me with my friends reflected on the convex lens. The background is a view of New York City, where I dream of working someday. This work reminds me that I will always cherish my old friends in Korea and reminisce about the good memories, even when working far apart. This convex canvas represents the unique identity I would like to add in this work. The reason I have drawn the work in round canvas is to express the view of this work as a convex lens.

Fear
Oil
This oil painting depicts my younger self, who used to play with toys whenever I could not fall asleep. It represents a surrealistic moment between dream and reality. The size of the animal toys represents the fear that it gave me when I was young as a student sleeping alone in a room. Also, I have made a face in fear to show the anxiety from it. The coloured small balls symbolises childhood when I was young.

Chaos
Oil on canvas
This oil painting on canvas illustrates diverse groups of people enjoying Skittles, my favorite childhood candy. I have added that people of different ages show the collaboration of the work and also, this collaboration shows how people of different ages are combined through skittles. Also, buy using punky colour, this stands out people and skittles on the work. The yellow symbolises my childhood and pink symbolises the sporty life.

Torture
3D sculpture
The camera on the sculpture's head represents nostalgia. The light coming out from the camera indicates different nostalgic memories. Using acrylic paint, I wrote meaningful dates of my life, such as my birthday, on the sculpture's surface. Lastly, tiny LED lights studded on the face to represent my identity. These coloured lights are represented on the face to tell my personal story of my childhood, and show the different identity that I have.

Division
Acrylic painting
Each section of this divided self-portrait presents my face against different backgrounds of the places I miss: the Han River in Seoul, a beach on Jeju Island, and my previous school. The division of my face shows the persona directly. This division represents different memories that I had in this time in this area. Also, bright colour usage shows how my memories are represented per section.

Paradox
Oil on canvas
This oil painting on canvas depicts a hand cradling a heart like a precious object. The inverted colors emphasize the raw and pure emotions, making the heart seem unapproachable. The inverted colour directly shows the persona of the work. This persona is used in hand and heart which represents the thoughts that I have and how they are expressed through hand holds. Also the dark background shows how this work is showing comparison.

Memory Tape
Oil on canvas
This oil painting on canvas illustrates film strips containing the most memorable moments of my life from a cassette tape. Each section shows how my different memories are used in the work. This memory is used as a tool to show how they are in my mine in different ways. Also, by adding a dark background, it shows contraction of the work and background for the highlight of the work. It makes the work stand out more.

Permeate
3D - Cassette Tapes
This three-dimensional work portrays cassette tapes scattered around, symbolizing my good and bad memories. The yellow cassette tape in the center represents the integration of my happy memories. The black-and-white tapes disappearing into the black background show my painful memories fading. The splash of yellow paint affects the surroundings, implying the power of positive memories. The features in the dark background shows the complication of the mind.

Connection
Digital
This digital artwork blends anatomical, religious, and surreal elements. A skeletal torso is entangled with a red thread, symbolizing fate or connection. Above, two hands reminiscent of Michelangelo’s Creation of Adam nearly touch evoking themes of divinity and human fragility. The dark, textured background enhances the eerie, thought-provoking atmosphere. The hand is directly showing a connection which is the biggest theme of the work.
